The West Coast Car Show brought to you by Byers Security, which like most other events has taken a two year sabbatical due to COVID, returns to the holiday town of Langebaan on Sunday the 23rd January at the grounds of the Curro school.
Organized by Peter Lindenberg, a local resident and top South African sportsman and motor industry stalwart, for the benefit of two community projects that he has been heavily involved in from inception, Team Langebaan, and The Feed The Need program which since the advent of COVID has provided in excess of 400 000 meals over the past two years. All proceeds will be split between these two projects and will help continue to make a difference in the lives that need it most.
New to Langebaan is a branch of Rotary South Africa whose members are all involved in the weekends activities in the town.
Visitors to the show will be treated to a vast selection of motorcars from classics to sports cars to new vehicles, as well as motorbikes, beach buggies, hot rods and competition cars.
The toys on display will not only be for the big kids as the local radio car control club will be having demos of their race cars and rock crawlers for the kids and anyone else interested. Youngsters will also be able to experience using some of these model cars themselves. There will be a band playing during the course of the day as well as drinks, refreshments, kids entertainment and a market.
Entrance to the show is R50 for adults and R20 for children over 12.
