Retro-Futuristic Transformation: Collaborating with Milan-based design studio BorromeodeSilva, the team set out to elevate the Lamborghini Diablo to new heights. Borrowing design cues from the sporty Diablo GTR, they crafted a restomod hypercar with an aggressive yet refined aesthetic. The body, excluding the windshield, was overhauled using 3D-printed titanium, resulting in a truly unique and limited collection of 19 custom models.
Balancing Size and Performance: Maintaining the Diablo's original proportions while enhancing them to the extreme, the restomod hypercar features eye-catching details both inside and out. BorromeodeSilva highlights, "Our work enhances the balance between size and performance, taking inspiration from the Diablo GTR." The result is a fierce hypercar that seamlessly embodies the minimalism of the early 1990s.
Retro-Futuristic Style and Comfort: To ensure lightness, rigidity, and a robust build, the team spotlighted features like pop-down headlights, giving the hypercar a retro-futuristic style. The interior underwent a transformation, combining ergonomic and aesthetic deep-blue seats with a modernized steering wheel and dashboard. The upholstery, crafted from a blend of materials, provides lightness, breathability, and grip.
Technical Enhancements: Engineering experts were brought in to enhance the hypercar's performance. Premium Pirelli tires, a Brembo braking system, a Marantz audio system, and a Capristo exhaust system were incorporated. Virtual simulations indicate impressive performance metrics, including acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h.
Powerful V12 Engine: The original 5.7-liter V12 engine underwent technical enhancements, resulting in a power boost to 550 HP at 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires and Brembo braking system ensure exceptional control, with a braking distance of 34 meters from 100 km/h to 0.
