What is a Pinup?

Wikipedia definition – A sexy model whose mass-produced pictures see wide appeal as pop culture. Pin-up girls are glamour models, fashion models, and actresses. Eg Bettie Page, Marilyn Munroe, or Dita von Teese.

SA HotRods definition – An attractive, tattoo-clad girl styled in retro, 50’s, Rockabilly clothing posing with a really awesome Hot Rod, Muscle Car or Chopper. Eg. see web pinup pictures.
If you think you fit the above description, email your pinup pictures and the completed application form (see below) to info@sahotrods.com.

If your pictures crack the SA HotRods nod, they will be posted on SAHotRods.com. If you think you have the potential, but not the right photo, come to one of our SA HotRods events, dressed in your Rockabilly finest, and one of our on-site photographers will capture you with one of the gorgeous Hot Rods/Muscle Cars/Choppers on display.

RULES:


• Emails must be titled Miss SA HotRods Pinup entrant
• You MUST be18 years or older to enter
• Only South African-based girls will be considered
• Fill out the application form and email it along with your shots to Philippa@sahotrods.com
• We are looking for pinups not porn stars, so photos containing nudity will NOT be accepted as submissions
• Photos posing with a vehicle would be preferred but no essential
• You may submit as many photos as you like
• All photos submitted will be the property of SA HotRods
